106km of Silence

Acacia Blake is a determined young woman who is walking 106+ km in silence to raise money for Seaview Project. Acacia is completing the challenge in memory of her late brother, Jethro, who sadly passed away on the 25th of July 2019 after struggling with mental health problems and addiction.

Acacia recognises how important it is to address issues surrounding mental health and addiction head on and not keep it hidden. By talking about it and raising the profile we help to ensure that people who are struggling have access to a network of support to help them recover and reach their full potential. It is as Acacia says on her Just Giving page, “People sleeping rough are valuable humans with love and gifts to give, if only they could get the right support.”
