Services Update

Posted by Sue Burgess · 1 min read

Seaview continues to support as many individuals as possible during lockdown. We have scaled back our service to reach rough sleepers and those in crisis; opening the Wellbeing Centre to 4 people at a time twice a day on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and once a day on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Our Rough Sleepers Outreach Service continues to verify and check on the welfare of rough sleepers in the early hours and we are stepping up our telephone support to those who need our support. For more information on our opening times and services please contact Seaview on 01424 717981

Our RADAR Arts Worker, Bex, completed some training in animation and this lead to the first RADAR animation project where service users made plasticine models of themselves and the Seaview Wellbeing Centre. The service users wrote a script and Bex helped them make a short film.

Seaview Coronavirus Measures

Although we are closed to the public we continue to operate a service to our most disadvantaged service users in the community. Our early morning rough sleeper outreach service continues to operate, we are providing freshly cooked warm meals and emergency supplies to our most vulnerable service users and we are also providing telephone support through this difficult time. Please note, we only have limited supplies of food for our clients who are in urgent need and appeal to the public to donate if you can by visiting Seaview Donate to help replenish our stores. Let's work together to help our most vulnerable through the crisis.
