Seaview’s range of support services helps marginalised people with addiction problems, mental health issues, ex-and at-risk offenders and rough sleepers achieve personal growth and fulfilment.
Since 1985, Seaview has been providing an open-access Wellbeing Centre in the heart of St Leonards-on-Sea. The Wellbeing Centre is a vibrant place that is all about helping people to achieve their full potential. We have a ‘can do’ approach, building on people’s strengths and helping them tap into their potential. This is always both exciting and challenging!
Hastings has experienced unusually high rates of drug related deaths compared to the rest of England. As a result, Hastings is one of five pilot areas for Project ADDER – a service aimed at reducing the numbers of drug related deaths, the prevalence of drug use and drug related offending.
People cannot achieve their goals without having somewhere to live. Since 1996, Seaview has been providing a dedicated housing support, navigation and outreach team to help those who are homeless access accommodation.
Operating from a fully equipped treatment room in Seaview or their mobile unit parked outside (ambulance), SJHH offer nurse-led drop-in clinics, up to four days a week. Service users can see a nurse and/or podiatrist and a general volunteer about any physical or mental health issue.
We run digital inclusion sessions to ensure our service users do not feel left behind in the modern world of technology.
